Because, although Dean and Cora do, in fact, find some sort of relationship in their pain, the circumstances are not ideal. This is why this is called a dark romance. And from there, they experience and deal with horrors that were so difficult to read about. But, unfortunately for her, Dean’s marrying her sister, Mandy.Īll of this seems so, completely trivial, however, just a couple chapters in, when Dean and Cora get taken. I mean, sometimes, their barbs are all in fun, but, usually Cora just loathes Dean for how obnoxious he is.
